Dear search function programmers:

There is just something terribly, terribly wrong with your bookselling site's search functionality when I'm perusing the third page of "paranormal dark fantasy romance" and I scroll past Anne of Green Gables. Terribly, terribly wrong.

Nolove, me.

And then Ann tries to dye her hair black - goth! - and ends up with a weird funky green instead. I mean, c'mon, amirite?

What, don't you remember the part where Anne and Diana go out and kill some zombies while they're on the trail of a killer vampire gone out of control (and Anne tries to juggle her conflicted feelings for Gilbert, who turns out to have secrets of his own)? And the part where the Sloanes turn out to be were-toads? Geez.

I can't help it. I want to say, "that's just not right," but instead, some bizarro part of me keeps thinking, "I want that entire statement on a tshirt." Why? I don't know. I just do. Maybe that's what I'll wear to the next con I attend, just... just because I CAN damnit.

Take pictures and show me!

(And you want it on a shirt because it's the boat-rescuing truth, dammit!)
