Major cute points on the tail. My Siamese used to "hide" in much the same fashion, with her tail waving back and forth in case we hadn't noticed her hiding place...
My cat's favorite hiding place is under my bed, where she can attack my ankles as I pass. She does manage to get her entire body under there, so points to her for that, but the stealth loses something when she charges out, headbutts my ankles, and blinks up at me before scurrying under to do it again.
Her second-favorite hiding place is a scratching post/cave where, yes, her tail continually pokes out from one end. Truly, she is a mistress of cunning.
We've taken to announcing to each other (as warning for where the kitten currently resides):
THERE IS NO ZAIZAI. THERE IS ONLY ZOOL.
Which... strangely, somehow, works. (Especially since the little twerp knows the Zeh-sound, and will perk up at Zool just as fast as he will for Zai. Go figure.)
