Very true -- but I figured that was about as many options as I could reasonably put in a single question, at least in this venue. If I end up taking everyone's suggestions and doing a more comprehensive survey (hosted elsewhere, most likely), then I'll probably try and insert a bit more mix-and-match for the various questions. That said, the fundamental difference is that -- most often -- novel/fiction is going to be solo-ownership on the copyright, 2D will be solo, shared, or corporate, and AV is pretty much consistently corporate-owned copyright regardless of country of production. Since my interest here is in the copyright protecting the various kinds of fandom-sources, that's why I arranged the questions the way I did.
