Been gone the past five days for obligatory family-visit-thing, and managed to catch a bad head-cold while I was at it. My theory is that the universe is of the mind that if you're emotionally miserable when deluged with relatives, you might as well be physically miserable while you're at it, and do the misery all proper-like.

Which means we will have to wait until this head-cold is past before I can regale you all with the story of U-Haul Guy, Sweet Momma, and the Iranian Rug Dealer.

No, really.

Yikes...I, too, caught a cold during the holidays, from my niece who was both ill and in a very cuddly mood. Sadly, I do not have any interesting stories to tell, and especially not ones involving U-haul Guys and Iranian rug dealers.
