You know you're hooked on a storyline when you find yourself downloading the raws just to get some idea of what happens next... even though two years of Mandarin is absolutely worthless when it comes to comprehending Korean characters. Doesn't matter! At least there are pictures!

*waiting anxiously for the next chapters of Bride of the Water God*

OMG, I'm reading shoujo and I freaking like it...

yup. looking at the raws is definitely a sign of desperation. Enjoyable yet frustrating.
This Bride of the Water God sounds interesting. I haven't liked much shoujo lately other than Skip Beat.

I'll do a longer post on it tonight or tomorrow, since I also wanted to point out some cultural details that are what made it particularly intriguing to me.

All I get from raws, sadly, is, "okay, and then she gets upset, and okay, now there's some new character, and, uh, lots of talking... no, now he's mad, hunh..." Drives me bonkers. I'm halfway tempted to send the raws to a Korean friend and threaten painful death if she doesn't at least call me back with a general summary per chapter. I don't even need details. Just some kind of clue!

Heh, at one point I was reading online summaries for a manga because I couldn't take the wait.
