You know you're hooked on a storyline when you find yourself downloading the raws just to get some idea of what happens next... even though two years of Mandarin is absolutely worthless when it comes to comprehending Korean characters. Doesn't matter! At least there are pictures!

OMG, I'm reading shoujo and I freaking like it...

You know what? I'm liking shoujo too. I like character in a story as well as action and some shoujo does character really well - I'm thinking about Fruits Basket and Hana Kimi and Skip Beat. The characters might be teens but there is so much psychological depth and exploration that it totally satisfies me.

I came across an astrology site a few days ago that did the charts of Spiderman, Superman, etc and found that they fitted the characters really well. It's hilarious and spooky.

For some reason, I read "Fruits Basket" as "Ferris Beuller" and thought, wow, that's some crazy-ass shojo doujinshi there.

Folks have cited Skip Beat at me, but Furuba remains an exception IMO that proves the rule -- in that it's a seriously dark and sometimes disturbing tale and not just the harem-fantasy pap it pretends to be at first.

I am not going anywhere near superhero astrology. Wait, not, is the Flash a Gemini? Because if he's not, there's just no justice in this world. So to speak.
