No, ignore the way that Duo's head looks like it's pivoting radically on his shoulders, on the verge of spinning around completely just so he can watch Wufei walk off. No, ignore the bizarre oversized flaps on Wufei's pants that make him look like he stole Trowa's clown costume, just like you can go ahead and ignore (despite teeth-gritting) that Heero is slouching. Erm, see, that's not the point of linking: it's because I want to know, I need to know: what is UP with Trowa's pants?

Ironically I rather like the art style (Trowa's hair and pants notwithstanding - hell, Trowa notwithstanding). it's just... their positions are so BIZARRELY bizarre.

I actually like Heero's pose as well as Quatre's. I think they look natural (for normal teens, anyway.)

What really disturbs me is that Duo has no crotch. There's nothing but air way up higher than there should be.

*coughs* Actually, the art was drawn by Shukou Murase, who did the character designs for GW. Obviously his style's changed quite a bit from the original (http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n168/lithie_anari/page36.jpg).

I think he drew another illustration for the DVD boxed set as well. They were both meant as treats for fans (although quite a number of Japanese fangirls were reportedly disappointed).

Except that Heero never has a "normal teenager" pose in the series -- Askerian's right; the posture is highly OOC for Heero. (Although, if I look at it as not-Heero, then you're right, it's a very naturalistic and comfortable pose.)

Frankly, I think Quatre got the best deal of all of them, in that picture.
