I think gun control might help, but not completely. There's just something about how critics are pointing the finger at us Americans and saying how if we didn't have guns this wouldn't have happened that's setting my teeth on edge. A lot of it is because I find it cold-hearted to say such things when the grieving haven't even buried their dead yet, but also because they seem to be talking about like "oh, take away the guns, problem solved."

It's not that easy, for reasons you've stated above. Between this and the whole racism thing beginning to crop up, this case has me perturbed as well as extremely distraught.
