And I did it in less than two thousand words! Yay me! I know, I'll treat myself by going back to see Pacific Rim again... like, in two hours. MUST SEE. Hopefully it'll still be playing in 3D this upcoming weekend, b/c I know CP wants to go see it again. It has honestly been decades since I've gone back to see a film multiple times in the theater. (I would've done it for RuroKen, if it'd been in the theaters here, though.)
As for the seiyuu, I know lots of people have been calling Pacific Rim a flop (for reasons I still can't fathom), and I guess Hollywood has its monetary measurements. But if del Toro is half the geeky fanboy I hear he is, I've got to wonder if he didn't squee, just a little bit, when he got word of the seiyuu assignments. I know in his place, I would've, and I would've also have taken that single action as a kind of stamp of affirmation above and beyond any amount of Hollywood accounting happiness. Weeee.
(also, check the comments, plenty said, feel free to ramble on as you like. it appears we're all fans, here!)
