There's protection against illegal content, which you can find in everything from, oh, online server contracts to car rentals to land purchases. (Which is rather ironic, considering that with RICO, it doesn't matter: if a car is used -- or even alleged to be used -- in the context of a crime, the car can be impounded, auctioned off, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Even if you're not convicted, and even if you're tried and found innocent!)
But that's not at all the same as "we can use your car because it's in our parking lot".
I mean, talk about cake (or sheep) and eating and having: if your stuff's legal, we get to use it, but if it's not, then we don't have anything to do with it & it's not our problem.
