Baka was out on the patio the entire time. Kiku was asleep in the yard. Zaizai was in his little pyramid/tent... but once all the furor died down, Zaizai made an appearance and had to get really lovey, after which he suddenly "discovered" the interesting new smell in the dog bed. Checked it out thoroughly, then commandeered the dog bed for a nap. (I guess investigating is HARD WORK.)
