One of these days, I'm going to manage to get a recording of the conversations Bakabaka has every night with CP, when he comes in from curfew. They're hysterical, and proof yet again that I live with a Leo. (Multiple Leos, actually.)

Yes, it is, isn't it? It also appears to require significant amounts of PRACTICE. In between noisy reminders to we non-long creatures that yes, the looooong creature in question is looooong AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT.

I think he picked it up from Sachiko, who always crosses her paws when lying down. Now everyone except Kiku does it, as well. I'd say it's ladylike, but it's about the only genteel thing about Baccano, really.

Well, we've got Long Cat... and Dead Cat. (Although the latter is nearly as long as Long Cat, she's about twice his width.)

Wide enough to touch front paws and back paws to opposite walls in the hallway, just to drive home just how LONG he really is!

Yes, but the problem is that he KNOWS this. And uses Teh POWR of CUTE every night to get treats alongside the dogs. We're convinced he practices in front of the bathroom mirror while we're sleeping.

Seems like seeing a cat and dog side-by-side just makes both of them look even cuter. Compare the paws, the ears. They're so... so... (goes into a trance)

Well, he wasn't too pleased to be woken by the flash, since it was dark and I didn't want to wake him by turning on lights... so I woke him with a flash of light to the face. Errr. Fortunately, he's easy to appease -- we give him tidbits of chicken jerky (a dog treat, actually) and he chows down very happily. After, of course, picking up each piece and testing it to see which is the largest piece, and that's the one he eats first. Apparently this is a requirement when you're a littlest demon.
