My mom goes to an osteopath back in Virginia. She loooooooooves him. He finally figured out that her shoulder pain was because of a rib out of place in her back.
Of course, ERs and insta-cares are their own special brand of, "Let's get this person out." My back went out on a Friday after doctor's office hours, to the point I could barely walk. They gave me Flexeril for a muscle relaxant and Tramadol for pain. I just went to my doctor for a refill after about two years (it lasts awhile for me). First thing that pops up is don't take Flexeril with Cymbalta, which I've been on for more than two years. *rolls eyes* Just glad I didn't have the reaction.
