I can't recall now what really attracted me to Bleach, but at first it was the interaction between Rukia and Ichigo, I'd say (and the rather odd assortment of characters that made up Ichigo's collection of friends). I was even willing to forgive when Rukia was arrested, going along with the assumption that her belief in rules/right was a huge part of her makeup (and therefore even when wronged, she'd trust in the system to a large degree). Orihime annoyed me at first (mostly the seiyuu, I'm afraid, because it's a rather breathless whiny delivery), but she did eventually grow on me, as did Ishida...
And then suddenly we have Ishida disappearing b/c he's not supposed to be around Shinigami, and Orehime becoming an utter spineless twit... and I just can't take it anymore.
