I've found the largest range of Duos -- and why is this surprising? -- when I've interviewed DEA agents and police officers in the course of research for stories. There must be something about undercover and/or narcotics work that brings out the bad-boys-who-do-good, I think. The diplomats I've met invariably have Trowa-like personalities (calm, self-contained, somewhat impassive expressions) more than Quatre-like.

I'm trying to think if I know any Quatre-minds. I'd have to say only the coxswains I've met could be remotely close, and that's possibly b/c of the responsibility of the role, and the emphasis on strategy and mental strength in competition. (The coxswain also often has a Quatre-complex, being the least-strong in the boat, aka 'dead-weight', but also the brains behind the operation; I'm thinking of Zechs aiming for Quatre b/c he's the nexus & Quatre assuming it's b/c Zechs is going for the weakest point.)

I can think of only two or three Wufei-minds that I've met (in terms of style, presentation, that oh-so-formal heavy-sarcasm) and man have I hated them. How they do grate on me, and if I can't avoid them, I just say nothing at all, not even acknowledge they exist.

The concept of slashing two people b/c of who they look like is... rather creepy.
