One of the things which I find interesting about all this is it really reinforces that, when Heero later states that he doesn't want to kill any more, he's not doing an about face so much as his personal desires/feelings are finally coming completely to the fore.
Some I've seen seem to have the view that it's about Heero learning that killing's wrong, etc, etc, and that's always grated on me for some reason. But put next to your review, it's really not the case, is it?
And thanks for the remarks re: Relena, too! I'm glad that it's not something my deluded little brain playing tricks on me! :P Seriously, tho, from the little I've seen, I've never viewed her as the vapid little twit she's sometimes portrayed as. Actually, she seems more reserved than anything else, which some people perceive as being 'snobby'.
