Yeeeeeah...I'm kinda boggled myself, too. Then again, it might've just been the timing of deciding to take a vacation, y'know? Although the two events are clearly unrelated, I guess folks were mostly thinking: this is our last chance for awhile to insist on A, B, or C. Especially if "C" stands for Cats & Wolves, a story I've sworn I'd never pick up again.

Hrm, we'll have to see what I can do when I get to that point, eh. ;D

Hah, hah, hah. No, look at the number of unfinished stories--I think if opened the donations again, I'd have to double the donations here to finish everything up. And really...I do need some time to focus on my own stuff. As much as I love you guys, I do eventually want your money coming to ME.

Excellent! Some folks are still weighing in on helping out, and I'm sending them to the list of GW writers. I know a lot of people would've donated anyway - I know I would've, had I the money - but it's still a great thing to feel like we're doing something and possibly getting folks to donate who might not have, otherwise. ;-)

What's a good writer without a little--*ahem*--insanity? ~.^; I can only imagine what your muses must be doing, if you have any. I mean, talk about a panic attack. One day you're taking small a vacation and getting down to the good stuff, and the next you got 100,000 words to fulfill!

oh...well, then. i was so elated at the idea of the great zephyr in my friends page, too. my sn here is different, you know me as wishful thinking. oh, and silvercaladan says hi. i think she's gonna start reading Tetractys again since you mentioned Newtypes in your author notes. finally! i figured showing her the pairing equation would bring her over to the dark side, but nooooo. so fickle. and i was going to donate money to make sure you updated, too. good thing that you have enough loyal readers already!

yep, Tet plays on newtypes, but the pairings are rather funky. I took a bit and reread the last few chapters this afternoon, between bouts of coughing, napping, and watching escaflowne.

if you still are inclined to donate, please do--and I recommend all the writers cross-posted. If you want wacky pairings, you've got your pick from trad 1/2 and 3/4 up to 2/4 and 3/5 and 1/3 and 2/5...have at it. ;D

actually, i was more afraid i would feel compelled to donate. im not quite able to send any money, (not from lack of empathy, though) even if i did have it, and i really did want another chapter.

but youll always be zefyr to me, despite how many times i correct myself for your sake. and if ive kept track of you this long and still havent grown tired of your stories, that counts as great in my book.
