It's the Onion, so I'm willing to bet they made up most of the references. Still, talk about generational -- because I know Conan at least somewhat but don't know jack about Barney Fife!

That was funny. Although clearly, the author of the article wasn't aware that "The Tower of the Elephant" is an actual story written by Robert E. Howard, and then adapted into a story for the comic. :)

You can still buy CDs from them online, but I don't see the point in paying so much for something new. Unless they're indies, and the labels I like are usually not sold there.
