I'm not sure what I think of it. I found it incredibly emotional and engrossing when I was reading it, a combination of adrenaline high and dread. But it didn't stick with me, and looking back on it, I'm not sure I'd even recommend it to anybody.

I didn't like the ending. I thought it totally undercut what the rest of the book had been setting up, and I think that's why I don't remember it more fondly. But you didn't get far enough for that to be an issue for you :)
