Heh, yes, the (in)famous Gey Card. Dunno who it was on FM, but I posted the first chapter of Dancing on the roving crits while trying to find a crit circle (met Slobbit through that post, we bonded, the rest is history, and our latest victim is Bonnie). One of the reviewers said she liked the beginning, wasn't too sure about the werewolves (me: the hunh?) and maybe I should have Keegan, like, y'know, give a sign when he meets Celia because me playing the gay card caught her totally off-guard.
Me: you want Keegan to what? Newsflash, babe, contrary to popular jokes, there is not a secret handshake amongst gay folk. Puhleeeese.
But it did send me into paroxyms, sometimes of laughter, sometimes of screaming, since it was random enough to make me question whether or not anyone had gotten the point of the kiss right there at the end of the first chapter. Yes, it's there for a reason. Sheesh. Fortunately, Slobbit was there and commented via priv msg, and...here we are. Gey Card an' all. ;D
